I thought marriage was supposed to be a “states rights” issue. But now that “out of control legislatures” and wild justices are legalizing all marriages - in their respective states - we now have to do something federally. Geez.

Update: I should clarify. I really really need to get off these stupid “Human Events” and “Redstate.com” email lists. I signed up for them to see what the fringe conservative people were saying about the run-up to the election, and now it’s just more and more over the top crazy. Somehow I got signed up for something called “Expose Obama” too. I can’t even begin to describe what b.s. is in that “mailer.” Yeah, I know I should send it all to my spam folder, but it’s like a trainwreck, and I just can’t help not opening them up and peering into the crazy.
