Creators of Credit Crisis Revel in Las Vegas

The creators of the credit crisis in this article aren’t the people who defaulted on their loans. Finally a newspaper is giving credit where credit is due:

And here I thought poor people caused the “subprime” meltdown and started the road to recession.

Now can we finally say that it’s all related to credit and, as Atrios likes to put it, a big shitpile; that investors were betting on things that they didn’t understand, nor could they?

Credit ratings. The whole game is all made up. And since I don’t know anything about this stuff, it seems to me that I should be able to go work for Moody’s, S&P, Ambac. Send me and the people who are losing their houses to Vegas.
